We are working to promote peace and security for children in conflict-affected or fragile contexts. The foundation supports peacebuilding and reconciliation efforts that involve children and youth as agents of change. We also provide humanitarian assistance and protection to children affected by emergencies, such as war, natural disasters, or epidemics. The foundation also works to prevent the recruitment and use of children in armed forces or groups, as well as the proliferation of small arms and light weapons that endanger children’s lives.
